to keep this going, the pic of Scott's belt is the one I have on my 2007 800, the one I broke coggles off, they replaced it at 1200 miles when I had a broken motor mount, and I don't know if they put the wrong one on, and now I'm putting the same one on again. Should I get the one with thye big wide...

Sportsman 800 belt question

Well here it is, I've blown my first belt, looks like 2 cogs broke off, so dealer warrantied it, well I pay first, said Polaris should send me the refund of the belt. My question is, the belt that I had and now have has ribs (cogs) that are small and close together, he had another one that had big c...

What I don't get is I changed the oil 2 times in the front. Also the vents route to the same location for the transfercase, and rear end and Ih...

I did have a problem the week before with it not disengaging, so I changed the fluid, thinking it maybe just that. Well the other night I jacked it up with the 4 wheels in the air, and started the bike, put it in AWD, and gave it gas, well my front right wheel was turning, so was the front driveshaf...

high mileage 700-800's?

I'm just wondering what kind of miles people are getting on there twins as I have just over 3200 miles on mine now and about 220hrs, and wondering how long these twins can go for without any problems. My buddies 03 700 had the connecting rod go at around this mileage but they were known in 02-03 for...

My problem is, it won't go into AWD, it shows its in, but only my back wheels will spin, all of a sudden. I just changed the fluid in it yesterday, I don't get that it worked fine coming out of a ditch and 10 min. later in a field went back to AWD and only 2 rear wheels would spin. THanks for the in...

So far great.

2600 hard miles. and 200 hrs.

Starter
belt due to motor mount going.

All warrantied. Other then that it works really hard pulling a trailer and plowing in the winter, and its AWESOME.

Thanks for the reply, I will check that, are you saying you have heard of head gasckets going, would a cold climate make it happen easier. I've plowed in very cold weather, the bike usually warms up for 5min. and I take it slow.
