Have not heard of the ball joint on the tie rod ends going out very often. When I replaced my tie rods I went with Honda 450r ends and they have worked great. The american star tie rods are fricken awesome compared to the pretzels Kawi gives you.

Hey BF your belt should not be tight at all you should be able to put a straight edge from the driven pully to the primary and with very little effort push down on the belt to get about 1 inch of deflection. Also do not put any of those aftermarket belts in they are junk from what I hear use a Kawi belt.

Sorry to hear about that Brute Force, try getting the dealer (stealer) or Kawi to help out a little bit. $3000.00 is a good down on an 08.

Magellan Triton 200

Does anybody own any of these new Triton series GPS?? Just curious on how they are holding up. Have them balanced that should fix it! Also I don't know if this has been posted on here before but here is a link to the Brute Force shop manual in pdf. form.

Thanks Ken, very good info. I was checking out some of your mapsend plots and google earth stuff, that is very cool. I can't imagine carrying two flat packs in for gas I get kinda of irritated with just the one on the racks.

Nice small little town a bar and a couple of bed and breakfasts thats it. So a flat pack won't do it on the Dusy Ershim, any other tips for that ride? Also how do you guys know when you can get through on Fordyce is their a place to check for flows? Thanks-Jeff
