That trail is most definitely steep. Is it up by Mine Camp or down by Davis Flat?

Luckily only his quad was messed up. We couldn't make it up the trail and so I was able to back down to a turn around spot and get turned around. When my buddy was trying to do the same he ended up getting sideways and had to bail as his quad rolled and bounced down the trail. I was able to race dow...

We went to Stony today and rode in the rain. It was definitely a blast until my buddy rolled his quad down a black diamond trail about 8 times. That put quite a damper and an end to the day.

GPS track sharing

I found these gps track sharing websites and thought it might be a good way for people to share some of the atv tracks that people take as they are out riding. Some of the sites allow you to attach photos to the track log as well. http://www.everytrail.com/ http://www.gpsies.com/ http://www.sanoodi....

I don't have it. I have been waiting for the price to drop some before I buy it. I want to be able to scan forest service maps so that I can have all of the roads and trails on my PN-40 when I am out.

I have this same unit and I agree that it is probably the best unit on the market right now. If you have Delorme's Xmap program you can have any type of map scanned and Xmap will encode it so the PN-40 can read it. They are also working on a beta version of some firmware that allows the PN-40 to be ...

I don't know where the any flume is, but the old Borland Trestle is near there. The center section of the trestle has collapsed, but most of the ends are there.

I am always up for going riding, when it isn't hunting season, but I think a lot of that area is under snow right now. There are some areas that are lower in elevation that may be open, but I am not sure right now.

The two OHV areas near there are: Crandall Peak/Deer Creek OHV areas, and Hull Creek/Trout Creek OHV areas. These areas are mostly just fire roads with some double track trails mixed in as well. You can find info on these two areas on riderplanet.com. The Crandall Peak trail can be ran either direct...

There are several areas to ride around Strawberry. There are two specific OHV areas that are nearby and there are several 4wd trails that are pretty fun to ride in the area as well. I believe the trail that Regor is talking about is the Crandall Peak trail. That trail is mostly a fire road that goes...

Diesels are the way to go. Cheaper to upgrade power, get more power than gas, longer life span, longer distance on a gallon fuel. We looked at the VW TDI, they are pretty nice, and if we were in the market for a new car we would probably get one.

The Volkswagen TDI and the Mercedes Blue Tec is already available here in the U.S., but it will be nice to see more diesel vehicles here. Honda is also supposed to be bringing a 50 state legal diesel here as well.

Since we don't have property I am limited to public areas. I am a little worried about having a youngster out with other people who may not be the most cautious. My son rides the power wheels quad real well, but I am just nervous about being in a crowded area with him. He has been riding the power w...

From the picture it looks like you ride trails with him. Do you take him into the woods on trails or do you stick strictly to the controlled OHV parks? Since he can't completely pull the brakes back do you have a problem getting him to stop correctly and quickly?
