You want to look for Mapsend Topo 3D. I just got a copy from Ebay a few months ago. Also your best bet for info is the Magellan Yahoo Group.

I have a Meridian Gold and I love it for ATV riding.

I really like the two cloud photos and the one with the little tree bending over. That one reminds me of a place I was recently at in Yosemite. Actually there are several places in that general area that remind me of Yosemite. All that granite I guess. http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z135/trailda...

The map I saw showed the gate and I wondered if it was locked. That is too bad. I would like to take Sharon and she can't hike in. I wonder how a public National Forest road is locked to the public. :(

Fordyce Lake Rd. to Paradise Lake

Has anyone ridden this road. I looks like it starts out as Fordyce Lake Rd. and the name changes to Magonigal Rd. and then becomes NF-85. It goes thru Paradise Valley and crosses North Creek as it heads towards Paradise Lake. On my map it ends before it gets to the lake. I hiked on the Pacific Crest...

Do you want the reusable type or disposable. I get these at Harbor Freight. I like them better than the preformed disposable type. They work better with my goggles. I have one of the rubber ones shown above but have not used it much. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=9...

I don't know about the operator part. One thing about that camera is a small viewfinder and it makes it hard to get the horizon right sometimes like when there's a compex shoreline. It irritates me. I'm working on a better bag to be able to bring the E-30 along some time. Of course, the weather tha...

Nice photos. What kind of camera? White Rock Lake is a great place to camp and take pictures. I had to forgo the Miyagi ride because I have a camp trip planned at White Rock Lake in two weeks. I would love to go there when there is snow on the ground.

Rubicon Advice

I have a friend that would like to check things out around or on the Rubicon. He rides one of those sport quads with the on demand 4x4 systems. Another rider has a dirt bike. He was also interested in checking out some of the trucks doing the trail. Is there any part of the trail where he can ride w...

Cool! We had it on the whole time, but it seemed to malfunction on day 1. The first point didn’t get logged until we were riding down the other side of the mountain toward the Truckee River for lunch. Dunno what happened to the morning points, but it makes me think twice about depending on SPOT in ...

Nice ride. Did you base camp or take your camp with you?
